Very nice apartment that had everything we needed.
Great location in the centre of the city. Very clean and comfortable and a good size. Excellent water pressure in the shower!! Great communication with the owner.

Spacious and comfortable flat at the best location downtown Reykjavik
Best location in downtown Reykjavik. Right at the start of the Rainbow Street. After unloading our stuff right outside the flat entrance, we parked our car at the free parking (no waiting) near Hallgrimskirkja and walked under 10 mins back to the apartment. There's paid parking right outside the flat if you don't mind paying 600IKR per hour. Most of Reykjavik's tourist spots are within walking distance. We only used the car to get to Perlan. No problem finding free parking space when we got back. Though I didn't meet the host, she responded to my queries in a timely manner. We appreciate the clear self check-in instructions. We appreciate the ear plugs provided but we didn't need them. It was really quiet at night so we could hear the occasional passerby. They didn't linger around. Most importantly there was no one partying nearby. Hence, we slept pretty well both nights. Clean and spacious living / dining room. Fully equipped kitchen and machine machine The best part, we saw aurora borealis right outside the flat on Aug 29 !
Not an issue with us but be prepared to go one flight of stairs to get to the apartment.

Hope to Return to perfect location
Location to cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. Noise was only an issue on weekend ... People loud outside.
The price was a bit steep ...
